Private Instrument Lessons

Ages 4 and up!

AGES 4-10

​

Students between the ages of 4-10 may take voice as a private class provided that they are willing to  take piano during 50% of their 30 minute class time. Students are taught musicality, theory, and technique in voice because their attention span, their diaphragms and their ability to comprehend advance vocal terminology is not fully developed. 

Ages 11& Up 

Students in this age range must take 30 minutes of voice training. The focus is on vocal exercises,  technique, repertoire, & great attention is spent on breathing correctly and singing with vocal freedom. Students in this age group are highly encouraged to take a theory class so that they may be the musicians that they are needed to be to compete on an advanced level for top programs, colleges, and to be in ensembles, groups and choirs.

Private Instrument:
Piano, Guitar, Violin, Etc.

Students taking private instrument lessons will be taught how to read music, musicality, and have a 30 minute one on one private lesson in their instrument of choice.
